Deathrow 187: The Character

Deathrow 187: The Character

Race: Imperial (Skyrim) with mysterious enhancements from a Final Fantasy-style void magitech experiment.
Class: Dark Knight (Final Fantasy) fused with Witcher-like monster-hunter skills.
Combat Style: Deathrow 187 wields a massive black zweihander, radiating necrotic energy and capable of stealing the life force of its victims. He pairs this with calculated agility, using both stealth and brute strength to dispatch enemies.

Backstory:

Once a prisoner sentenced to execution in Cyrodiil, he escaped after a cataclysmic Void rupture tore through the prison. The rift imbued him with unholy powers at a terrible cost—his soul now tethered to a Daedric Prince of Oblivion, Molag Bal, and a Final Fantasy-style Esper of death, Anima. Branded “187” after his prisoner number, he became a myth among the living and the dead—a death dealer who stalks those deserving punishment or vengeance.

Desiring freedom from his soul-binding curses, Deathrow 187 hunts ancient relics in Skyrim’s Nordic tombs, Witcher-like contracts for monstrous foes, and otherworldly magics to break his chains. His alliances are fleeting, as trust does not come easily when you walk the line between mortal and monster.

Deathrow 187: The Faction

Theme: A cult-like assassin organization operating in the shadows of Tamriel and The Continent, with its roots tied to a blend of Final Fantasy and Skyrim’s darker mythologies.
Motto: “Death is the only mercy we offer.”
Purpose: They serve the whispers of an ancient Esper or Daedric Prince, tasked with eliminating threats that disturb the cosmic balance. Their methods resemble those of the Witcher’s guild, but their loyalty is to death itself, not morality.

Symbolism and Aesthetic:

  • Members of Deathrow 187 wear obsidian armor marked with glowing red sigils, resembling Final Fantasy-style magitek armor.
  • Their emblem is a skeletal hand gripping a broken hourglass, representing stolen time.

Base of Operations:

A hidden fortress deep in Blackreach, blending Dwemer architecture with Void-imbued crystals. The fortress pulsates with ancient magic, creating a haunting, ethereal ambiance.

Role in the Hybrid Universe:

Deathrow 187 could act as antagonists, reluctant allies, or a shadowy mystery within the larger narrative. Their ties to both Skyrim’s Daedric Lords and Final Fantasy’s Espers make them central to conflicts involving dark magic, morality, and existential choice.
